Tour Planner & Administrator
The UK’s longest established tour planning company that design bespoke, private tours is in need of a driven and organised individual to join their small close-knit team as a Tour Planner & Administrator. This role will be based out of their Regent Street office, and requires a high level of multi-tasking and attention to detail.
The role involves liaising with customers mainly by phone and email to design itineraries for private clients – coordinating with their team of tour guides and suppliers, costing tours, researching and planning. The successful candidate must have good written and spoken English, an interest in Britain’s heritage, be numerate, flexible, and available to work some weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to customer inquiries – mainly by telephone and email
- Designing itineraries for clients
- Liaising with our team of tour guides
- Costing tours and processing payments
- Attending an informal agent’s meeting once a month after work, and the occasional tour guides meeting
- Available one in three weekends – Thursday to Sunday is free every three weeks
Social media management experience desirable but not essential. This role would suit a history graduate or similar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about British heritage and history to join a lovely family run company!
