Fabulous Chelsea based interior design showroom wishes to recruit a sales orientated person who can interpret clients’ requirements.  This job is for someone who is very bright, has fantastic client facing skills, knowledge of materials and how furniture and objets d’art are manufactured.  Our client produces stunning bespoke and vintage furniture for interior designers around the world.  Confidence and a positive personality are key, as you will be meeting and greeting clients with grace and charm – 80-90% of whom will be trade customers buying on behalf of their own clients.  For this reason, the ideal candidate will be 100% on the ball, must have a strong knowledge of the interior design world, be full of energy and enthusiasm and able to talk intelligently about commissioning the manufacture of products.  Basic book-keeping skills, SAGE, MS Office and general IT skills are essential, as well as competency with social media ie. blogs, Twitter and so on, in order to develop your own client base.  A steady and reliable candidate with a degree of ‘get-up-and-go’ will excel and thrive here.
