Project/Workroom Manager – Soft Furnishings
South London based soft furnishing company in it’s 30th year now seeks an ambitious Project/Workroom Manager to join their team. This is for an individual who has experience of manufacturing with fabrics and hopefully workroom supervision and is now looking for a role with a future and added responsibility.
Previous involvement in soft furnishings would be ideal but would consider a related background in textiles/fashion or upholstery. An exceptionally gifted organiser and people manager will be the key along with understanding of the very high cost of the materials involved and the variety of clients and workforce who all need very careful handling. You will need to be numerate, have great IT skills, particularly Excel CAD and ZERO and as near to 100% accuracy essential. A knowledge of Esticp/File Make would be an advantage but you will be a complete finisher who can follow processes with superb attention to detail. Salary is very negotiable for someone with most of the above.
