Project Manager – VM & Retail Design
This key UK Head Office managerial role in the field of Creative Retail design and Visual Merchandising will suit a talented designer who is likely to come from a small store/restaurant background. This is a fixed-term contract and will entail full responsibility for transforming 20-30 small stores and exposure to BAA/airports/transport will be useful. Your remit will be to manage the critical path, timeline, budget forecasting and resourcing across all store design, visual merchandising, vintage and international projects. To advise and act as a central point for the department and thus reporting and flagging opportunities and risks in relation to the agreed Capex, P&L and timeline. To provide direct support to Head of Creative Retail while working alongside the VM Manager and Concept Design Manager. You will co-ordinate numerous stakeholders, tapping into wider Global VM and Retail Design team. Min BA (Hons) in Design, PC/MAC literate, proficient Microsoft Office (advanced in Excel) and a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Some SketchUp would help and essential to have a clean driving licence. Absolute minimum of 5 years in a co-ordinator/administrative role in design and you must be highly numerate.
BA Hons in design is essential, as well as 5 years minimum working in a design based role.
