We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Retail Manager. The successful candidate must have retail experience, preferably in menswear. They will assist the Manager in the day to day duties of running the shop and ecommerce website, as well as providing leadership and guidance to a small team of dedicated sales assistants. We need someone who uses personal initiative, works efficiently, and has the ability to prioritise duties with enthusiasm. Applicant must be English speaking.  Main responsibilities include: ordering stock and special orders from suppliers and updating customers throughout the order process; processing online orders, ensuring all are completed promptly and payments charged; chasing express special customer orders and ensuring the customer is informed of the order status; alerting the shop Manager to low stock levels to determine stock orders; facilitate complete customer satisfaction by providing product information, guidance on etiquette and sourcing items required; oversee a small team of sales assistants and assist the Manager with training to ensure company expectations are met; maintaining a safe and clean shopping environment in store.  An interest in traditional menswear, the English social and sporting seasons and some understanding or alteration and formalwear etiquette would be advantageous.  As the brand is growing, this role offers real potential for career progression both in terms of professional development as well as salary.
