Junior Interior Designer
High-end residential interior design firm based in Surrey requires a Junior Interior Designer to support their team on a contract basis. The role will be for an initial 6-9 month period, with the potential to go permanent for the right person. They have an excellent local client base and enviable reputation, which means projects are on repeat. The successful candidate will support Senior Designers with projects from concept to completion, source products, (e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes), sample management, producing and delivering design presentations to clients, and research and gathering information.
Requirements include:
Degree or Equivalent In Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Experienced in using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
MS Office (world, excel and outlook)
Good presentation skills
Space planning skills, technical drawing packages and joinery detailing
SketchUp and Hand-sketching – desirable
