Liv-ex (The London International Vintners Exchange) operates a b2b wine trading platform and due to continued growth in their global operations need to recruit a new member to their team in Tilbury. With customers in 35 countries and a turnover over £50m, liv-ex is used by the vast majority of tine wine merchants around the world and now need to recruit someone who enjoys physical work and is happy to be part of a small team. As a warehouseman you will deal with high value wines and need attention to detail in order to receive deliveries, check the type and quantity, evaluate the condition of the wines and generally help with other duties. Previous similar experience is essential as is good fitness along with the ability to work under pressure. Able to handle fragile wooden cases weighing c.18 kilos. Competent IT skills and self-motivated with high energy, organised with a strong eye for detail, flexible and able to work in a collaborative culture.
